Ayesha Victoria Dwyer, a Waukegan, IL native, is a
creative author with a distinct impact on young readers via her expressive
disposition and affinity of story-telling in all forms. As a reformed class
clown, her vivid imagination enhances her passion for writing. Ayesha has
published two multicultural children’s books – Sista Me: Every Mikkel Make a Mukkel and Sista Me and Friends: A Rock and a Hard Place. She has a catalogue
of unpublished writings to include a delightful story about the anticipation for
The Most Wonderful, Spectacular,
Magnificent Day! The story of Sista
Me closely resembles the life of Ayesha. Just like the character, she too found
herself in sticky situations; however the wisdom of her endearing grandfather
was often her saving grace. Through her writings, Ayesha is impassioned to
inspire marginalized readers to appreciate literature wherein they are able to
identify their likeness within each story. Ayesha’s aspirations are to develop
her current books into an animation series and to continue to write stories
that will foster lasting memories for generations.
