Event Details

IRS-certified volunteers provide free, individualized tax preparation for low- to moderate-income taxpayers -- especially those 50 and older and who can't afford a tax preparation service. The program is sponsored jointly by AARP and the IRS. AARP provides the funding for the program and the IRS provides the tax software.

Please note that this is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. To register, you may call the library's Information Services Department or register in-person by speaking to an Information Services Department staff member. Library staff will begin taking calls on Wednesday, January 23rd @ 9:00 AM. Space is very limited! All appointments usually fill-up by late, February and are done by a first-come first-serve basis. The library does not collect any money and has only limited information. For more information about AARP or this specific program please reach out to the AARP Coordinator, Michael Hill @ mrxhill@gmail.com. This is a FREE program provided to the community by very generous volunteers from AARP. The Library does not guarantee an appointment will be made to any individuals and is not responsible for any tax filing errors.
