The Basic and Intermediate Math and Reading program is 100% FREE to the public and is a program designed to help individual participants improve their reading, writing and math skills. Awards and certificates are given for mastering new strategies and skills as individual participants work towards completing the program. Tutors work with individual participants one-on-one while adult literacy materials are provided also to both learners and tutors thanks to our recently awarded "Back to book" grant. Ultimately, the program assists learners in obtaining their GED if the learner would like to work towards this.
